Why Baselocation?  
 Q. Why should I host my Web site with Baselocation instead of another ISP? What is the difference in customer support?
 A. Our experience with other Australian ISP's is that customer support queries take hours, or even days, to process - and then are often performed incorrectly. At Baselocation, we're committed to providing the best customer support possible, and ensuring that your site is up and running as quick as possible.

Hosting Packages  
 Q. Which is the best hosting package for me? How do I know what I'll need?
 A. We're happy to assist you with choosing the most suitable package, please feel free to contact us. Usually one of our standard packages will suit, but if not we can customise a package to your requirements.

Hardware / software  
 Q. What operating systems are supported by Baselocation?
 A. Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows 2003 running .NET.
 Q. What databases are supported?
 A. Microsoft Access 2000, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft SQL Server 2003 are supported.

Inclusions  
 Q. What is included with the Baselocation hosting packages?
 A. All Baselocation hosting packages come standard with the following:
  • Support for Microsoft Access Server Pages (ASP)
  • 5 email aliases for each email account
  • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for secure online transactions (netBusiness and netEnterprise only)
  • Private FTP for uploading site
  • Your own subdomain name (eg: yourbusiness.baselocation.com)
  • Premium Baselocation server
  • Tape backups
  • High quality technical support
 Q. What kind of site statistics do I get?
 A. Baselocation use DeepMetrix (formally MediaHouse) LiveStats 7.0, more information can be found on the Site Statistics page.

Payments  
 Q. Am I required to pay a year in advance, or can I pay month-by-month?
 A. Currently we are only taking yearly payments for Web hosting, as this drastically reduces administration for both ourselves and your company.
 Q. If I sign up for a package, can I change to a different package later on?
 A. Yes, we can change the account you are on. There is a one-off set-up/administration fee of $110 for this service. We will refund you for the remaining time left on the account, and start you on a new yearly subscription.
 Q. How do I pay for the account?
 A. We will send an invoice to your registered address. Checks should be made out to: Baselocation. We do not currently accept payment by credit-card, however we do accept direct-credit into our bank account. Please contact us to arrange this.
